Cashier + Deli Operator

Spirito’s Italian Grocery is hiring! 

We are a family-owned business located on Collinsville’s Historic Main Street with a legacy of elite customer service, high-quality Italian products, and incredible deli selections. What sets us apart from any other retailer (outside of our world famous "Italian Sammie”) is our love for food and people. We treat our customers like family, gifting recipes, pizza-making walkthroughs and unabashed kindness. We are looking for people that can match that energy, combining integrity with hard work and a love for the people of Collinsville, IL!

Cashier Responsibilities include guiding customers through the purchase process, giving product recommendations, accepting payment, bagging groceries and cleaning the deli/prep areas of the store. 

Prep Cook & Deli history is a huge plus, as we assemble dozens of our takeout items on-site, but we’re happy to train those new to the kitchen. Our deli section requires employees to slice meats and cheese according to customer specifications.

Customer Service is our #1 priority and we reward hard-working employees with opportunities for grow within the company! As we expand, we’ll be developing management positions as well as sales opportunities, and we prefer to promote from within, growing with our employees.

We are open Tuesday-Friday 9a-5p & Saturday 9a-2p. We are looking for a Part-Time Employee, offering competitive pay and flexible scheduling 20-35 hours per week with opportunity to grow into a full-time position.
